until 745 PM EDT

at 444 PM EDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms moving through the advised area. Radar data estimates indicate that up to an inch of rain has fallen in the past hour. An additional half inch to an inch of rain will be possible over the same areas. This amount of rain can result in flooding on roadways and in areas of poor drainage. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground. A Flood Advisory means stream flows are elevated or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
